【翻譯】我家狗的保姆剛辭職了。

【場景】Max的男友Randy與Max分開半小時左右後又見面，告訴Max他今晚要在別處辦公，不能跟Max小聚。說完後，隔會兒一條短信被告知照顧狗狗的保姆辭職了，當Randy說沒人照顧狗狗時，Max立馬迴應能幫他照顧狗。

【講解】

sitter 這裏指代人，= a babysitter保姆（同 babysitter）。sitter還可以意爲someone who is having their portrait painted 擺姿勢讓人畫像的模特，被畫像者。

quit 停止；離開；辭職；放棄。如quit wasting my time別浪費我的時間。

【例句】

I dropped the kids off at the babysitter's.
