BEIJing-- Nearly 56 percent of Chinese believe that traffic order got even worse after tightened traffic regulations were adopted at the beginning of 2013, suggest poll results released on Tuesday.
北京消息，週二公佈的調查結果表明，自2013年初實施強化交通規則後，將近56%的中國人認爲交通秩序變得很糟糕。

【講解】

traffic order是交通秩序；tightened traffic regulations是強化交通規則。
根據中國青年報進行的民意調查：大約26.8%的受訪者（respondents）認爲交通秩序在某種程度上得到了改進（has been somewhat improved），而14.2%的人們認爲嚴格的交通規則（strict enforcement of traffic regulations）實施後沒有多大變化（see no changes）。
總計45,358個受訪者接受了本次採訪，其中50.2%的人們居住在二線或三線城市（second- or third-tier cities），13.5%是在一線城市（first-tier cities），其餘的來自城鎮或農村（county-level areas or the countryside）。
調查顯示：大約94.2%的受訪者說：在路上，行人違反交通規則的情況（violations by pedestrians）很普遍，包括闖紅燈（running red lights），不通過斑馬線橫穿馬路（crossing roads without the use of crosswalks）。
大約17.7%的受訪者認爲：違反交通規則的主要原因（the leading cause for traffic violations）是寬鬆的法律實施（lax law enforcement），而14.8%的回答者認爲，這和公衆缺乏遵守交通規則的意識（the public's lack of awareness about following rules）有關。
