We left for the capital on Independence Day, 14 August, and travelled by bus, everyone brimming with excitement.
Most of the girls had only ever left the valley when we became IDPs.

這次旅行有很多的第一次。但中國餐館那次我實在無法參加，因爲我上了一個名叫《首都談話》的電視節目。To this day I still haven't got to try duck pancakes!
直到今天，我都還沒嘗過烤鴨捲餅呢！
