第四屆孔子學院大會晚宴致辭

女士們，先生們，朋友們：

晚上好！
Good Evening!

第四屆全球孔子學院大會開幕已經兩天了。各位代表不辭勞苦，以滿腔的熱誠投入工作，積極建言獻策，廣泛深入討論，使大會各項議程進展非常順利。在此，我謹代表中華人民共和國教育部和孔子學院總部，向你們表示誠摯的感謝！
Today marks the second day of the Fourth Confucius Institute Conference. All delegates have participated in the Conference activities with great enthusiasm and without a break, and contributed wonderful ideas and suggestions in their extensive and in-depth discussions, which ensured successful running of the agenda. On behalf of the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China and the Confucius Institute Headquarters, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you!

明天上午，我們將舉行大會閉幕式，校長和院長分論壇的召集人將與大家交流和分享大會的成果。之後，中國教育部部長袁貴仁先生將作總結講話。總部將認真吸取各位代表的意見和建議，把明年的工作做得更好。
Tomorrow morning, we will hold the Closing Ceremony of the Conference. Conveners of the President’s Forum and the Director’s Forum will share their fruitful discussions with everyone. After that, Mr. Yuan Guiren, Minister of Education of Chin, will deliver concluding remarks. The Headquarters will listen carefully to ideas and suggestions from the delegates, for the purpose of improving the work for next year.

經過5年的努力，孔子學院從無到有，從小到大，不斷髮展，至今，已在88個國家和地區建立了280多所孔子學院和270多箇中學孔子課堂。各國朋友都說，孔子學院是一個大家庭，在世界各地有我們的兄弟姐妹。今天晚上，我代表中國教育部和孔子學院總部，在這裏設家宴，款待出席大會的中外朋友！希望大家這次中國之行，心情愉快，身體健康！
Through 5 years of hard work, we have started the Confucius Institutes from zero, facilitated their growth from small to big, and helped them develop. As of now, more than 280 Confucius Institutes and 270 Confucius Classrooms have been established in 88 countries and regions. Our friends from other countries have all commented that the Confucius Institutes are like a big family and we have brothers and sisters all over the world. Tonight, on behalf of the Ministry of Education of China, and the Confucius Institute Headquarters, I would like to host a family banquet for friends attending the Conference from home and abroad. I hope that everyone enjoys a pleasant trip in China!

再過20天就是新年了。在此，讓我們共同祝願孔子學院在新的一年裏，蓬勃發展，取得更大成功！祝願各位朋友新年快樂、工作順利、家庭幸福、萬事如意！
The New Year will come in about 20 days. I would like to propose a toast, to the prosperity and greater success of the Confucius Institutes; to a happy and successful New Year, to a happy family and to a year of good luck!
