廣播學口語:用耳朵聽 用嘴巴吃
嗨！大家好！廣播學口語又準時和大家見面了。今天我們的句子又是和器官有關的：I‘ll play it by ear. 另一個則是一個祕密：I will not break my word. 欲知謎底，音樂後馬上揭曉！

I‘ll play it by ear. 用耳朵演奏嗎？這是它的原意。是說有些技藝很高超的人，他們演奏時不看樂譜，只要憑自己的記憶就可以了。這裏引申爲見機行事。比如在公司的會上，你沒有絲毫準備就被邀請講話，你就只好坦言：“I‘ve no time to prepare for the meeting, so I’ll play it by ear.”（我沒有事前準備，只好有什麼說什麼了。）
不過這樣的情況用在女朋友身上比較合適。Being with your girlfried，you should have the ability to play it by ear. It is helpful for you to have her smile.（和她在一起你應該見機行事， 以搏紅顏一笑。）記住了？

閒話少說，接下來揭曉今天的謎底。I will not break my word. 到底是什麼意思呢？別急，word在這裏指我們所說的“話”。break呢，原意是打破打碎，這裏可不是說我說話結結巴巴的。break one’s word 的意思是食言。所以今天的謎底就是我不會再食言了 。
以前總是先許諾, 後食言。終於把女友給惹急了，“Why do you say you will not break your word and do it again and again？Is that just off the top of your head？I‘ve never thought you are such a person！”（你怎麼說永不食言而一次又一次的這樣做呢？隨口說說嗎？真不知道你是這樣的人！）
可是你知道嗎？To succeed in the future, the first thing you should learn is not to break your word. You should keep your word. That’s very important. （想成功，首先要學會的就是不能食言。要信守諾言,這非常重要！）
