近日，首臺“火鍋空調”在港城工業園海爾空調重慶互聯工廠下線。

該“火鍋空調”擁有62℃高溫（hot temperatures）製冷、20米遠距離送風（20-meter air supply range）、56度C除菌自清潔（automatic sterilization and self-cleaning）等行業領先技術（leading technologies）。
重慶海爾空調器有限公司相關負責人介紹，“火鍋空調”通過“專利結構”（patented structure）和“專利散熱器”設計（patented radiator design），實現外機電腦板高效散熱（dissipate heat very quickly）。
重慶是全國火鍋店（hotpot restaurants）最多的城市，2007年被中國烹飪協會（China Cuisine Association）評爲“中國火鍋之都”（"China's hotpot city"）。當地人一年四季都要吃火鍋（eat hotpot all year long），即使是炎炎夏日（sizzling summer）也不例外。
根據重慶火鍋協會（Chongqing Hotpot Association）的統計，重慶有5萬多家火鍋店，從業人員至少有350萬人。據估計，整個火鍋行業的價值（the value of the industry overall）達到數千億元。
