由於凱末爾當初對土耳其語進行了改革，所以土耳其語的門檻要比旁邊的中東國家低得多。用的字母基本和英語一樣，很容易就能拼讀出來。
現在先來學幾個吧：“嗨”是 Merhaba，“謝謝”是 Teşekkürler，“抱歉”是üzgünüm，“廁所”是 tuvalet
其中的 ü 和中文拼音的ü 一樣發音，ş 則相當於英語裏的 sh
