The Original of Chinese Names
名字的起源It is said that the original purpose of giving each person a name was for convenience. Ancient people found that whenever It was dark, they couldn't see each other and they couldn't tell who's who. Each person was given a name, so that they could address each other easily, even in the dark. Later, people became more and more particular about their names. Under the influence of political,economic and other factors,people had different preferences at different period of time.
據說，最初給予每個人名字的目的是爲了方便。古代人發現，每當天黑了，他們無法看到對方，他們分不清楚誰是誰。每個人都被賦予一個名字，使他們能夠很容易稱呼彼此，即使在黑暗中。後來，人們越來越講究他們的名字。在政治、經濟等其他因素的影響下，人們在不同的時間段有不同的喜好。
