霸氣普京戲稱俄羅斯的邊界沒有止境

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Russia's border "doesn't end anywhere", addressing a televised awards ceremony for students.

在一場電視頒獎典禮上，俄羅斯總統弗拉基米爾·普京對學生們稱：“俄羅斯的邊境沒有終點”。

"That was a joke," Mr Putin said amid applause and laughter from the audience at the glitzy ceremony.

在這場盛大的儀式上，面對觀衆發出的熱烈掌聲和歡聲笑語，普京說道：“我只是開個玩笑而已。”

He was asking a nine-year-old boy: "Where does Russia's border end?"

當時普京正在問一個9歲的男孩：“俄羅斯的邊界到那裏爲止？”

The boy had said "at the Bering Strait". Mr Putin then provided his own answer.

這個男孩回答道：“在白令海峽”。但是普京說出了他自己的答案。

In July 2014, three months after Russian troops annexed Ukraine's Crimea peninsula, he spelled out his doctrine to Russian ambassadors.

2014年7月，在俄羅斯軍隊兼併烏克蘭克里米亞半島三個月之後，普京向俄羅斯大使們闡明瞭他的理念。

"I would like to make it clear to all: our country will continue to actively defend the rights of Russians, our compatriots abroad, using the entire range of available means - from political and economic to operations under international humanitarian law and the right of self-defence."

“我想對你們明確表示：我們的國家將繼續努力保護俄羅斯人和海外同胞的權利，我們將使用一切可能的手段，包括政治的和經濟的手段，以及包括採取一切符合國際人道法律和自衛權利的手段。”

Nato and Western leaders accuse the Kremlin of sending regular troops and heavy weapons to pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine. The Kremlin has repeatedly denied that, insisting that any Russian troops there are "volunteers".

報道稱，北約和西方國家領導人一直指責克里姆林宮向烏克蘭東部“派遣正規軍”，並向當地的親俄民間武裝運送重型武器，但克里姆林宮方面對此予以否認，堅稱那裏的所有俄軍都是“志願者”。
