我們在說英語時,經常會碰到這種情況,一旦遇到單詞末尾加了”d”或”ed”後,總會卡住,有些繞口,同時也影響了英語口語的流利度。

之所以會有以上這種情況是因於我們平時對單詞末尾加了”d”或”ed”後的發音變化不重視,並未正確地處理好單詞加了”d”或”ed”後其末尾音的發音。

今天,我們會對單詞後面加了“d”或“ed”後的發音變化作歸納總結,同時做相應的強化訓練。這樣我們就能正確地發好單詞後面加了“d”或“ed”後的讀音,不但可以幫助大家提高發音質量,同時也能幫助大家更流利說英語。

單詞後加“d”或“ed”後的正確發音

動詞過去式或過去分詞,在動詞後面加“d”或“ed”後,發音會有以下三種情況:

1. 如果單詞的最後一個音是:/t/或者/d/,那麼加“ed”後,“ed”會讀做:/id/
started needed invited waited graduated

2. 如果單詞的最後一個音是不發音的輔音如:/p/,/k/,/f/,/s/,//,/t/或/θ/,那麼加“ed”後,“ed”會讀做:/t/
helped passed reached looked asked

3. 如果單詞的最後一個音是:/b/,/g/,/v/,/l/,/r/,/m/,/n/,/ ŋ /,//,/d/或元音,那末麼加“d”或“ed”後,“ed”會讀做:/d/
offered lived saved discovered tried

脣舌訓練:
Last year we decided not to go abroad. /id/
We rented a lovely cottage in Wales. /id/
It rained every day during the past couple of weeks. /d/
We stayed with friends in Paris. /d/
We camped outside Rome. /t/
I worked all last summer. /t/
I wanted a new car. /id/
I saved up a lot of money for my vacation.. /d/
Last summer I visited my cousin in New York. /id/
I really enjoyed it. /d/
I traveled all over America too. /d/
I waited the whole night. /id/
The car stopped immediately right after him. /t/
You and I have searched everywhere. /t/
She walked along the river this morning. /t/
I graduated from my high school two years ago. /id/
I called my mom last night. /d/
He offered to teach me English. /d/
We started out pretty late. /id/
My son jumped up and down to have fun. /t/

請注意:在有些情況下,單詞末尾的輔音,如本課中遇到的單詞後加了“d”或“ed”後,單詞的最後一個輔音如/d/, /t/有時會不發出來,關於這種情況我們會在《Faith口語課堂之流利口語技巧》中講到並進行強化訓練。鑑於本課的學習目的,請同學們在進行本課練習時,不要省略這些輔音的發音。

我會點燃那支雕成玫瑰狀的蠟燭,

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day
