BEIJing - Chinese authorities have closed the websites and social media accounts of 14 illegal social organizations with the assistance of internet companies such as Sina and Tencent, the Ministry of Civil Affairs said Friday.

北京消息：民政部週五表示，在新浪、騰訊公司支持下，中國有關部門依法關停14家非法社會組織的網站及其社交媒體賬號。

【講解】

illegal social organizations是非法社會組織；social media accounts是社交媒體賬號。
從名稱判斷（judging by their names），被關停組織基本致力於農業、數字產業（digital industry）、體育、動物保護（animal welfare）、疾病預防（disease prevention）和文化交流（cultural communications）等領域。
民政部對非法社會組織“零容忍”（zero tolerance），下一步將繼續保持打擊力度（continue the crackdown）。
今年4月份，民政部依法對9家非法社會組織網站及其開辦的微信公衆號、微博賬號予以關停（shut down）。
民政部敦促所有社會組織（social organizations）進行合法登記（formally register）。
截至目前，共登記（registered）社會組織83.6萬個。
