英國《泰晤士報高等教育增刊》發佈了2013-2014年度全球大學排行榜，由路透社作爲其年度世界大學排名的唯一數據提供商。大學排行的考覈標準包括教育、科研、知識轉化和國際形象等。全球大學排行採用13種經過仔細校對的表現指標，來做出做全面、平衡的比較。因此，該大學排行受到學生、學術機構、大學領導、業界和政府的廣泛認可。
