北京清理中式神翻譯標識，搞笑機器翻譯真的讓人笑掉頭……
去年4月，北京市人民政府外事辦公室的專家顧問到朝陽區CBD、西城區金融街進行檢查，發現這些地區普遍設立了英語標識，但其國際化、準確率仍有待提升。
Do not glissade when you see a sign in a washroom telling you to "Slide carefully!" as it actually means "Caution wet floor!"
在衛生間看到“Slide carefully”這樣的標識千萬不要想着表演芭蕾滑步，因爲它的意思其實是“地滑，小心”。
Likewise, do not look for a bowl when a bank sign asks you to "wait outside a rice noodle". Instead, search for a yellow line, or "one-meter line," which is spelled the same as "a (serving of) rice noodle" in Chinese.
跟上面那個一樣，在銀行看到“wait outside a rice noodle”這樣的標識也不要去想着去找個碗來。其實，你得找一條黃線，或者“一米線”，它和“米線”的字是一樣的。
2022年北京將舉辦冬奧會，如何向世界展示國際大都市形象，外語標識是第一扇窗口。對於機場和CBD等國際化程度較高的地區，外語標識更是“臉面”，要確保準確規範。

Some mistranslations were a result of verbatim translations such as a shop sign that reads "name smoke name liquor" (branded cigarette and liquor) on Beijing's shopping street Wangfujing, while some others stumbled at polysemantic Chinese words like an emergency exit whose English translation sign reads "export"(export and exit share the same word in Chinese).
有些翻譯錯誤是因爲字對字的直譯，例如說北京購物街王府井的一個商店標識“name smoke name liquor”（名煙名酒），另外還有一些讓人讀不順的標識是用到了多義的中文詞，比方說有一個緊急出口的英文翻譯是“export”（export和exit的中文字是一樣的，都是“出口”）。

不少企業和商家設立了英文標識，但或許是出於成本的考慮，許多標識的翻譯看起來都是辣眼睛的機翻。
上面這些Chinglish讓人捧腹不已，爲了海外遊客的方便，改正它們是很有必要的。
另外還有一些在非應試場合出現也無傷大雅的中式表達，因爲它們的易用性，而成功普及開來，最終得到權威的認證。
去年10月，”Add Oil”（加油）這個由中文“加油”直譯而來的短語就被英語世界號稱最大最全的《牛津英語詞典》收錄。
Add oil is an expression that has gained a lot of currency in Hong Kong in the last few years. A literal translation of the Cantonese phrase ga yau, it is used by Hong Kongers as an exclamation expressing encouragement or support.
“Add oil”是近幾年香港人廣泛使用的一種表達方式，它是粵語“ga yau”（加油的粵語發音）的字面翻譯，是表達鼓勵或支持的感嘆詞。
在此之前，long time no see（好久不見）和no can do（不可以）也被OED收錄。
當然，漢語與英語的碰撞不只是上面這些，許多漢語詞彙也在千百年來經由絲綢之路或者海上航道進入到了英語，有些詞彙甚至成爲了日常必需。
爲了城市形象與遊客體驗，不符合英語語法與詞法的翻譯自然需要改正。
在應試考試面前，未被廣泛使用和認可的中式表達，也應當避免。
但在實際交流中，手舞足蹈的肢體語言都可能會用上，什麼樣的表達都不應影響你傳達中國之美。
