Universal Beijing Resort will start trial operations next spring, and formally open to the public in May, Beijing Daily reported.
據《北京日報》報道，北京環球影城將在明年春季開始試運營，並於5月正式開園。
The entire project is designed to cover an area of 4 square kilometers in the Tongzhou Cultural Tourism Zone.
通州區文化旅遊區管委會副主任王冬生介紹，北京環球度假區項目位於通州文化旅遊區內，總用地面積約4平方公里。
At present, the construction of 20 utility tunnels and 54 municipal roads is underway, said Wang Dongsheng, vice-director of the Tongzhou District Cultural Tourism Zone Management Committee.
目前園區內部20條綜合管廊和54條市政道路正在建設中。
The theme park project is divided into three phases. Upon completion of phase 1, the park is expected to receive 12 million - 15 million visitors every year.
北京環球影城分三期建設，一期完成後預計每年可接待客流量1200萬人次至1500萬人次之間。
