我國禁止男男性行爲者獻血 解除女同獻血禁令大綱
Starting this month, lesbians are permitted to donate blood, whereas men who have sex with men (MSM) are still banned from donating, according to the Ministry of Health.
根據中國衛生部新規，從這個月開始，女同性戀可以獻血，有性行爲的男同性戀仍然被禁止。
This new regulation has attracted much online attention. One poster on Sina Weibo, China's biggest micro blogging platform, called the new rule "unfair and discriminatory."
該新規定引來衆多網民的關注。一位網友在中國最大的微博平臺“新浪微博”上發帖稱，新規“帶有歧視，男女不平等”。
The new guidelines are mainly because lesbians and MSMs have different ways of sexual intercourse, said Fu Qiang, vice director of Nanjing Red Cross Blood Center.
對此，南京紅十字血液中心副主任傅強告訴記者，這主要是因爲同性戀發生性行爲的方式有所不同。
Compared to lesbians, men who have sex with men are more vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases, especially AIDS. Only MSMs are not allowed to donate blood; gay men who are not sexually active are not banned, Fu added.
相比起女同性戀，男同性戀的性行爲傳播疾病的機率比較大，危害較大的是艾滋病。傅強說，其實被禁的是有性行爲的男同，如果只是“戀”的男同並沒有被禁止。

最近的一項調查發現，性傳播正快速增長，在艾滋病傳播中的比例越來越大。

It's hard to recognize whether a blood donator is an MSM or not, which may cause a problem on the long-term, Fu said.
傅強表示，獻血者是不是有性行爲的男同性戀，真的很難從表面來判斷，所以，從長遠來看，這也是一個問題。
