奇葩!福建某高中竟然禁止男女生交流

A high school in Fujian Province that has issued rules banning boys and girls from walking together or even chatting to each other has got netizens talking on social media.

福建省一所高中最近出臺了一些規定，禁止男女生一起走路、甚至還不能互相說話，這使得網民們在社交媒體上議論起來。

According to authorities at Zuohai High School, a private institution in the city of Fuzhou, the new rules aim to keep students from developing romantic relationships. The rules made the rounds on social media last Sunday.

據左海高中（福建一家民辦學校）校方表示，這些新規的目的是爲了防止學生談戀愛。這些規定上週日在社交媒體上引起了熱議。

The headmaster of school, surnamed Lin, defended the strict conduct code, which he said are common at private schools.

該校林校長辯稱說，這些嚴格的行爲守則在民辦學校很普遍。

"Though the school rules are a little strict, our aim is to keep students safe," said Lin.

林校長表示：“雖然學校的規定有一點嚴格，但是我們的目的爲了保障學生的安全。”

He cited examples such as Hengshui Middle School of Hebei Province, known for its high scoring students and military-like management.

他還特意舉了河北衡水中學的例子，該校以高分學生和軍事化管理而著稱。

Lin said his school's regulations have so far won support among parents. A student said it's reasonable for the school curb dating, but the rules go too far.

林校長表示，學校的規定目前爲止已經取得了家長們的支持。不過該校一名學生表示，學校防止學生談戀愛是合理的，但是這些規定有些太過了。
