職場英語日記 第53期:堤防上的女生悄悄話

It's finally starting to get light enough outside in the evenings to go outdoorsy stuff after work. Tonight Shawna, Danielle, and I went for a walk along the dike. It was a beautiful spring evening and there were lots of people out walking their dos or riding their bikes.

傍晚的戶外終於夠亮，可以下班後做點戶外活動了。蕭娜、丹妮爾和我今晚沿着堤壩一起散步。春天的傍晚真美，很多人都在外面邏狗或騎自行車。

Shawna brought Biggles, her little Chihuahua puppy, but he was too small to walk the whole way. When he got tired she out him inside herjacket and carried him. He was so cute! His little face was noking out of the zipper, and I swear he was smiling.

蕭娜帶了她那隻小吉娃娃畢格斯，不過它太小了，走不完整條路。如果它走累了，蕭娜就會把它放進夾克裏帶着。它好可愛!一張小臉還從拉鍊裏伸出來，我敢說它一定是在笑。

Dnaielle told me that her brother is getting married next fall and she is really looking forward to the wedding.

丹妮爾告訴我她哥哥明年秋天要結婚了，她好期待參加婚禮。

They are getting married on the beach in Cuba, so she'll have a nice vacation with hr family as well. I asked her if she and her boyfriend, Roland, were planning on getting engaged soon and she said they have talked about it but she wants to wait until she's finished school.

他們要在古巴海灘上結婚，所以她也會和家人快樂地去度假。我問她和她朋友羅蘭有沒有打算早點訂婚，她說他們討論過，但她希望等自己完成學業後再說。

Everuone seems to happy. I'm happy, too. They both said they approve of Sean and can see that I am completely smitten with him. I love my friends.

大家似乎都很快樂，我也是。他們都對西福恩很讚許，看得出來我完全被他迷住了。真是好朋友，我愛他們。
