Disney has released the first teaser trailer for its live-action retelling of The Lion King.

Chief Executive Bob Iger offered an advance look at this stunningly realistic CG tale and Jon Favreau will direct the 1994 animated classic.

Jon Favreau, who also helmed Disney's live-action/CGI hybrid version of “The Jungle Book” in 2016, is directing.
