[正] That night, the man was as drunk as a fiddler and even lost his way home.

注：中文用“稀泥”來形容醉得很厲害，而英文卻用“小提琴”來比喻醉漢。據說以前的提琴手所得的報酬是酒而不是錢，因此常常是不醉不歸。瞭解了這一典故以後，這個英語說法也就不難記憶了。
