注：affair 指與公衆有關的“事務”時，須用複數形式，所以誤句中的world affair 須改爲 world affairs。另外， current affairs(時事)，foreign affairs(外交事務)，affairs of state(國事)等，也都用複數形式。在指“(關係到某個人的)事”時，用單數。在指某一事件時，用單數，在 have an affair with sb.(與某人私通)這個固定詞組中用單數。
