如何用英語來表達窮
雙十一過去了……雙十二還遠嗎？接下來兩個月的土堆好了嗎？向父母男友哭窮的詞備好了嗎？只用poor根本不足表達以我們的窮苦程度，必須要整點新詞了~
1. dirt-poor 極貧困的
例句：Where would the dirt-poor Tom get a hundred dollars?
湯姆這個窮光蛋到哪兒弄一百美元去？
2. Max out my credit card 刷爆了我的信用卡
例句：She's maxed out three credit cards.
他已經刷爆了三張卡了。
3. poor as a church mouse 一貧如洗
（直譯爲窮的像教堂裏的老鼠……就是一貧如洗的意思）
例句：With his company doing bankrupt, he is now as poor as a church mouse.
隨着他的公司倒閉破產，他目前已是一貧如洗。
broke 身無分文
例句：I'll be broke in two months.
我會在兩個月內破產。
5. live from hand to mouth 勉強餬口，度日維艱
（hand to mouth 現掙現吃，只能滿足目前的需求，主要指食物方面）
例句：They can only live from hand to mouth.
他們的日子是隻能餬口。
have a bean 囊中羞澀
（一個豆豆沒有，囊腫羞澀）
例句：Most people in the area are unemployed and not have a bean to spend.
這地方的很多人都失業待崗，沒錢花。
