美國15 24歲年輕人中處女處男比例增加

More teens and young adults aged 15-24 say they have never had sexual contact with another person than did in 2002, according to a report by the National Center for Health Statistics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The report found 27 percent of males and 29 percent of females aged 15-24 say they have never had sexual contact with another person. That's compared to 22 percent of young men and women who said they had never had sexual contact with another person in 2002.

Researchers used data from 2006 to 2008 collected through in-person interviews in a national sample of 13,495 males and females.

The CDC estimates that about 19 million new cases of sexually transmitted infections occur each year - half among teens and young adults aged 15-24.

美國疾病預防控制中心預測，每年有1900萬起性傳播疾病發生，而其中一半病患的年齡正是位於15到24歲之間。
