報告指出 中國企業對美投資額創紀錄

Chinese companies invested a record of $45.6b in the US in 2016, tripling the amount in 2015, according to a research report by US consulting firm Rhodium Group.

美國諮詢公司榮鼎集團的研究報告顯示，2016年中國企業在美投資達到了創紀錄的456億美元，是2015年的三倍。

Although merger and acquisition remain the primary Chinese investment in the US, greenfield investment is continuing fast expansion, the report said.

報告稱，儘管併購依然是中國對美投資的主要方式，但綠地投資正繼續快速擴張。

"In contrast to the dominance of fossil fuel investments before 2013, more than 90% of Chinese FDI (foreign direct investment) in 2016 was targeting US services and advanced manufacturing sectors," it said.

報告稱，2016年90%以上的中國對外直接投資(FDI)進入了美國的服務業和高端製造業。這與2013年前的情況形成鮮明對比，當時FDI主要流向化石燃料領域。

Real estate and hospitality, information and communications technology, entertainment, and financial services continued to attract the interest of Chinese investors.

具體而言，房地產和酒店、信息和通信技術、娛樂、金融服務繼續吸引中國投資者的興趣。

The report expected China's direct investment in the US to continue experiencing growth in 2017, but political realties pose major downside risk to it.

報告預計，2017年中國對美直接投資將繼續增長，但政治現實對其構成重大的下行風險。

Other factors, such as stable U.S. economic outlook and the appreciation of U.S. dollar, also played a role in boosting Chinese investment.

其他因素，比如穩定的美國經濟前景和美元升值，也起到了促進中國投資的作用。

US president-elect Donald Trump's cabinet appointments suggest a more confrontational approach to trade and investment policy toward China, it said.

報告指出，美國候任總統唐納德·特朗普的內閣成員任命預示着美國在對華貿易和投資政策上可能將採取更具對抗性的方式。
