中日韓三國合編歷史教材
A joint editorial committee of scholars from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea is writing a new history textbook to resist efforts to white-wash Japan's militaristic past.
爲抵制歪曲美化日本軍國主義歷史的行徑，由中日韓三國學者組成的聯合編委會正在編寫一部新版歷史教科書。The committee has published two books: The Contemporary and Modern History of Three East Asian Countries in 2005 and A Modern History of East Asia Beyond The Boundaries in 2012.
“中日韓三國共同歷史編纂委員會”已經出版了兩本書籍，分別是2005年的《東亞三國的近現代史》，以及2012年的《超越國境的東亞近現代史》。Committee members attending a history seminar in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu province, told Xinhua Sunday that work on a third book has begun and is expected to be completed in 2020.
據新華社報道，該委員會成員10日在江蘇省南京市的一場歷史研討會上表示，第三本書的編寫工作已經啓動，並預計於2020年完成。
Li Xizhu, a fellow of the Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said scholars from the three countries have reached consensus on the focus of the book.
中國社會科學院近代史研究所研究員李細珠表示，中日韓三國學者已經對本書的主要內容達成一致。Ueyama Yurika, a Japanese member, said the committee will create contents in line with education practice in each country's context so that the textbooks can be used more widely.
來自日本的編委會成員上山尤莉香（音譯）稱，三國組成的編委會將結合各國教育實踐編寫內容，使得這些教科書能得到更廣泛的應用。Scholars agree that a correct perception of history is the foundation for reconciliation in East Asia.
學者們一致認爲，正確的歷史觀是東亞和解的基礎。Japanese troops captured Nanjing on Dec 13 of 1937 and started a slaughter lasting more than 40 days. About 300,000 civilians and Chinese soldiers who had laid down their arms were murdered. Over 20,000 women were raped.
1937年12月13日，日本軍隊佔領南京，開始了持續40多天的大屠殺。大約有30萬平民和投降的中國軍人被殺害，2萬多名女性被強姦。Tokushi warned that if teachers can't teach it, neither do media report on it, young Japanese might be harder to find out the truth.
笠原十九司提醒道，如果老師不教授這段歷史，媒體也不對其進行報道，那麼日本年輕人可能更加難以接觸到真相。
