當主句是一般現在時態時，從句也是一般現在時態：
當主句是一般過去時態時，從句也是一般過去時態;
當主句是一般將來時態時，從句便是一般現在時態
1.在時間或條件狀語從句中，一般現在時也表示將來。
例： We’ll go there if it doesn’t rain this afternoon.
這是固定的搭配法，如果都用i will to know if there will be a.....
這樣就出現2個將來時了，事實上雖然都是沒發生過都可以用將來時，但還是有動作的先後順序的

if從句的用法if有兩個意思：“是否”和“如果”.
當做“是否”講時一般引導賓語從句,時態依據時間狀語來做決定,
如：I don't know if he will come tomorrow.
當做“如果”講的時候,又分爲兩種情形：
1.真實性條件狀語從句,此時遵循“主將從現”原則,即主句用將來時,而if條件狀語從句用一般現在時來代替將來時.
如：If it doesn't rain tomorrow,I will go shopping with my friends.
2.虛擬性條件狀語從句,初中階段常接觸對現在和對將來的虛擬,此時主句多用過去將來時(would+動詞原形),而從句用一般過去時(V-ed).
如：If I knew his telephone number,I would tell you.
