So how to judge whether a person is a good speaker of English as an international language?
這次我提出的問題是，如何判斷一個人英語說的好不好，我們來看看外國友人的回答。

Things like these mistakes, if they are happening a lot together say to me that they are not that fluent.
他說，如果如上錯誤不斷出現，那麼那個人的英語就不算流利。

還有一種最致命的錯誤就是，許多人只是硬生生地把中文翻譯成英文，再說出來。
Well, where somebody tries to simply directly translate Chinese into English then quite often it is pretty obvious.

老外說，當我們犯這種錯誤時，他們是很容易看出來的。下面我們來看一個例子。
Eg in the hotel I am in we have signs up saying “watch out your belongings”. It should be “watch your belongings”.

“保管好個人物品”的保管被誤譯成了”watch out”.”watch out”翻譯成中文的確是”當心,注意,堤防”的意思，但是賓館的人生搬硬套，結果鬧了笑話。
