第330期:帶你瞭解影響世界的華人 拼音之父周有光

2018年1月14日打開谷歌，看到的是這樣的搜索界面。上面大大的寫出了“谷歌”的拼音，還有一個其實還有很多人不知道的中國人。他就是周有光。2017年1月14日凌晨3點
周有光去世，享年112歲，爲了紀念他，谷歌特意將其頁面Logo翻譯成拼音。他被稱爲“拼音之父”，正是他，爲我們推開了和世界連接的大門。
他通曉英、法、日三門外語，經歷了晚清、民國、新中國三個時代。跨越了經濟、語言、文化三個領域。曾和愛因斯坦聊天下大事和溥儀做“飯友”， 還和胡適、徐志摩、老舍、周恩來、陳毅成了親密的朋友。他謙遜而博學，大家都稱他爲：周百科。在他去世的那一年，美國CNN也進行了特別的報道，今天我們就來聽一下這段新聞：

The Chinese linguist Zhou Youguang, he is the father of Pinyin. And if you've ever tried to learn mandarin Chinese, you know that Pinyin is a way to convert Chinese writing into Romanized words, so that you can just read them aloud. Here is a very very simple explanation without the intonation symbols. Uh, if you've never seen these characters, there is no way that you can read them or pronounce them. But if you change them into Pinyin, you could say them: Chun jie Hui Jia. It means returning home for the lunar new year. The system was adopted by China the late 1950s and it is credited to boosting literacy rates there.
中國的語言學家周永光，他是漢語拼音之父。如果你曾經嘗試學習漢語，你就會知道漢語拼音是一種漢語轉換爲羅馬文字，這樣你就可以大聲讀出來。這裏有一個非常簡單的例子，在沒有語調符號情況下（額，你完全懵逼）。如果你從來沒見過這些文字，你根本不可能讀出他們。但是如果你把它們改成拼音。你可以這樣說：春節回家。意思是農曆新年回家。中國在1950年後期採用了這套拼音系統，並且它大大提升了人們的識字率。
