這也行? 廣州男子吃宵夜搶着買單被打昏迷!

Sometimes picking up the check just doesn't pay.

有時候搶着買單不一定是一件好事兒。

What started as a friendly tussle over the bill for a meal in Guangzhou ended with one man in a coma and another in police custody.

在廣州，兩名男子一開始都還比較客氣地表示要自己買單，但是最後卻演變成一人被打昏、另一人被警方拘留。

The victim, surnamed Zhong, was hospitalized on October 25 over injuries sustained outside a Yuexiu district eatery.

被打男子姓鍾，10月25日他在廣州越秀區一家餐館外被打，隨後被送往了醫院。

His attacker, surnamed Ou, had become infuriated when Zhong denied him the honor of treating the group and caused him to "lose face."

打人男子姓歐，由於鍾姓男子不給他買單請客的機會，讓他“丟了面子”，因此他勃然大怒將其暴打一頓。

Police said Ou met Zhong at a bar at 2 am while out with friends. The group decided to continue their get-together at a nearby restaurant.

據警方表示，當天歐姓男子和朋友一起出去玩，凌晨兩點在酒吧碰到了小鐘。一羣人決定在附近一家飯店繼續聚會。

But when the bill came, a well-meaning argument broke out between Zhong and Ou. Zhong managed to settle up, a gesture that Ou took as an insult.

但是等到買單的時候，歐姓男子和小鐘之間爆發了一場善意的爭執。最終小鐘付了賬，但是歐姓男子卻認爲這侮辱了他。

Police said Ou later assaulted Zhong outside the restaurant before leaving the scene in a taxi, leaving Zhong unconsious.

據警方透露，隨後歐姓男子在飯店外襲擊了小鐘致使後者昏迷，之後則搭乘出租車揚長而去。

Yuexiu disctrict officers picked up Ou at 7 pm that evening. He faces assault charges.

當天晚上7點，越秀區警方逮捕了歐姓男子，目前他面臨故意傷人罪的指控。
