城際動車亮相裝備展 3至5年後高鐵有望連WiFi
High-speed trains with experimental free Wifi service, among other newly designed trains, are on display during the ongoing Modern Railways 2016 railway equipment fair in Beijing, the Beijing Times reported.
據《新京報》報道，近日在北京舉行的2016現代化鐵路技術裝備展覽會上，配備測試版免費WiFi服務的高鐵列車和其他新型列車一起亮相。passengers of Chinese high-speed trains will only need to download an App in the railway station to experience free Wifi service, according to the organizer, China Academy of Railways Sciences (CARS). So far, the technology is still being tested and organizers say it will take three to five years for the technology to be installed on the trains.
展會主辦方中國鐵道科學研究院表示，未來中國高鐵列車的乘客只需在火車站下載一個應用，即可體驗免費WiFi服務。目前該技術仍在測試階段，主辦方稱，未來3至5年，高鐵列車將安裝該技術。
Free Wifi service on trains is currently provided by only a limited number of countries in the world like the US and Japan, because of technology barriers and huge costs. Along with China, countries like the UK, Germany and Singapore are also planning to provide the service in one to four years.
列車上的免費WiFi服務由於技術壁壘及高昂的成本，在世界範圍內，也僅有美國、日本等少數幾個國家提供。和中國一樣，英國、德國和新加坡等國家也計劃在一到四年內提供此服務。
In the meantime, new intercity high-speed trains CRH6F and CJ-2, invented by China, are also attracting lots of attentions from visitors at the fair. One passenger unit of the CRH6F is over 200 meters and has over 500 seats.
與此同時，有中國研製的CRH6F和CJ-2型新城際高鐵也吸在博覽會上引了大量觀衆的關注。CRH6F型高鐵的編組長度超過200米，擁有超過500個座位。One thousand passengers can be accommodated in a single car as baggage racks and restroom are shrinkable, creating more space. That's why the train is called a "hybrid," combining the speed of high-speed rail and the carriage capacity of a subway train.
通過收縮像行李架、衛生間等來創造空間，一輛高鐵可以運載超過1000名乘客。由於結合了高鐵的速度和地鐵列車的承載能力，這就是爲什麼這種高鐵會被稱爲“混合型”。The CJ-2 intercity train is equipped with a locomotive in the shape of shark head. The bionic design greatly reduces air resistance. The train is also equipped with a light aluminium alloy body which greatly reduces noise. The train cars are also said to be very comfortable for passengers.
而CJ-2城際列車的車頭設計成了類似鯊魚頭的造型。這種仿生學設計大大降低了空氣阻力。該列車全身爲輕量化薄壁鋁合金車體，可以最大程度的降低噪音。此外，這一列車據說會讓乘坐的乘客覺得非常舒服。
