盧旺達總統與記者展開推特之戰

Rwandan President Paul Kagame has exchanged angry words on the social networking site Twitter with a British journalist who criticized president Sunday replied 14 times on his official Twitter account to tweets posted by Ian Birrell, the former deputy editor of The ell described Mr. Kagame as "despotic and deluded" for saying the media, United Nations and human rights groups have no "moral right" to criticize ident Kagame fired back, saying Birrell also had no right to judge him and or to determine what people should ell accused the leader of not allowing open debate in Rwanda, shutting down newspapers and preventing rivals from standing in elections.

盧旺達總統卡加梅與抨擊他的一名英國記者在社交網站“推特”上打起口水戰。這位總統星期日在他的官方推特帳戶上14次回覆了《獨立報》前副主編伊恩.伯雷爾發表的推特文章。伯雷爾稱卡加梅“專制而昏庸”，原因是卡加梅曾說，媒體、聯合國和人權組織沒有批評他的“道義權利”。卡加梅還擊說，伯雷爾也沒有權利評判他，或是決定人們應該相信什麼。伯雷爾指責這位領導人不允許在盧旺達舉行公開辯論，並取締報紙，阻止競爭對手參加選舉。
