Well, I in my life I have tasted so many birthday cakes, anniversary cakes, and marriage cakes. But after reading the word “special cake”, there’s only one cake which I think is special. So here I would talk about it.
好吧，在我的生活中，我已經品嚐了那麼多的生日蛋糕、週年紀念蛋糕和結婚蛋糕。但是在看了“特別蛋糕”這個詞之後，我認爲只有一個蛋糕是特別的。這裏我要講一下。
It is a red velvet cake. Red Velvet cake is a red or red-brown layer cake and this cake is usually topped with yummy cream cheese frosting. Unlike normal cakes, this cake has a blood red 'ss common ingredients include buttermilk, butter, cocoa, and flour for the cake, beetroot for the colour.
這是一個紅色的天鵝絨蛋糕。紅色天鵝絨蛋糕是紅色或紅褐色的蛋糕，而這個蛋糕通常是美味的奶油芝士糖霜。不像普通的蛋糕，這個蛋糕有血紅色的內部。它的常見配料有奶油牛奶、黃油、可可和麪粉，還有甜菜的顏色。
As it is commonly served on Christmas or Valentine's Day, So I got chance to taste this cake last year.

I tasted this cake in a Christmas Party held at Hyatt Hotel in Ludhiana. Overall, it was a Christmas party with lots of fun and games. Hopefully, I would be going there this year also.

As I said earlier I tasted this cake in a party, so I had this cake with everyone who was present in the party. No doubt, majority of them were not known to me, but while celebrating, we all enjoyed the party together. I was familiar there with only one person, and that was my friend – Barack Obama.

This cake is also called as “red Waldorf cake,” “red carpet cake,” “red mystery cake,” “flame cake,” and “$300 cake”.

The most special meal I’ve ever had in my life was on my Dad’s birthday last year, which was prepared by all of my family members.
我這輩子吃過的最特別的一餐是在去年我爸爸的生日那天，是我所有的家人準備的。
The idea was put forward by my sister. We planned to surprise him and prepare his favorite foods. On that day, my Mom cooked Pho, a Vietnamese beef noodles, while I baked a birthday cake for him. My siblings were in charge of decoration and music. Everything had been done properly a little bit earlier before he came home. When he opened the door, he was astonished because of seeing a colorful “Happy birthday Daddy” banner sticked on the wall in the living room. Standing in front, my mom gave him a bouquet of red roses, his favorite flowers. We enjoyed the scrumptious meal and shared our best memories with my Dad.

After washing dishes, we gathered together in the living room. My Dad made a wish and blew candles. He said in tears that he was over the moon and he was proud of us, his home and his family. We gave each other great hugs before going to sleep.

這種方法主要是介紹菜餚的烹飪和主料，即公式：烹法+主料(形狀)
例如：
軟炸裏脊翻譯爲：soft-fried pork fillet
烤乳豬翻譯爲：roast suckling pig
當然，用這種方法，我們也可以把番茄炒雞蛋翻譯成另外一個版本，也是筆者多年國外留學經歷中見到的最常見的翻譯，即“stir fried tomato with eggs”。
3. 以人名或者地名作爲開頭的翻譯法
在我們的家常菜中，有一道菜很受歡迎，即“麻婆豆腐”。如果要套用上述主料翻譯法的話，這道菜翻譯爲：stewed beancurd with minced pork in pepper sauce. 如此長且複雜的翻譯肯定讓許多考生大爲苦惱，不過如果用人名或地名開頭翻譯法的話，這道菜就變成了簡簡單單的“Ma Po Toufu”了。
