元旦英文介紹

元旦，即世界多數國家通稱的“新年”，是公曆新一年的第一天。元，謂“首”;旦，謂“日”;“元旦”意即“首日”。“元旦”一詞最早出現於《晉書》，但其含義已經沿用4000多年。

“Dan” indicates the sun has just above the horizon, “Yuan” means the beginning, initial. Therefore “Yuandan” is the beginning of a year, the first day of the year.

Although the meaning “the first day of the year” has never changed, but in Chinese history, the specific date of “New year’s day” has changed over dynasties. China decided to adopt the Gregorian calendar and called the 1st January as “Yuandan” in 1949. But actually among common people the “New year’s day” is “Chunjie”-“Spring Festival” .

“Dàn ”biǎoshì tàiyánɡ ɡānɡ chū dìpínɡxiàn zhījì，jí yí rì zhī shǐ;“Yuán ”shì

“旦” 表示 太陽 剛 出 地平線 之 際，即 一 日 之 始; “元” 是

kāishǐ、zuìchū de yìsī.Yīncǐ “Yuándàn ”jiù shì yì nián zhī shǐ 、yì nián de dì

開始、 最初 的 意思。因此 “元旦” 就 是 一 年 之 始、 一 年 的 第

雖然 “元旦” 表示 一 年 之 首 日 的 意思 從未 改變， 但 在

中國 歷史 上， “元旦” 的 具體 日期 隨 朝代 更替 而 不 同。 在

1 9 4 9 年 中國 決定 採用 西曆，稱 一月 一日 爲

“Yuándàn”.Bùɡuo，shíjìshɑnɡ zài mínjiān “Xīnnián dì yì tiān”háishi“Chūnjié ”. “元旦”。 不過， 實際上 在 民間 “新年 第 一 天” 還是 “春節”。
