一般現在時
1. 當if後面接一般現在時的動詞時,表示對將來的一種推測. if sb do sth sb will/shall do sth. If you go with me, you shall be rewarded.
2. 當if後面接一般過去時的動詞時,則是一種虛擬語氣. if sb did sth sb...
if從句的時態if有兩個意思：“是否”和“如果”.
當做“是否”講時一般引導賓語從句,時態依據時間狀語來做決定,
如：I don't know if he will come tomorrow.
當做“如果”講的時候,又分爲兩種情形：
1.真實性條件狀語從句,此時遵循“主將從現”原則,即主句用將來時,而if條件狀語從句用一般現在時來代替將來時.
如：If it doesn't rain tomorrow,I will go shopping with my friends.
2.虛擬性條件狀語從句,初中階段常接觸對現在和對將來的虛擬,此時主句多用過去將來時(would+動詞原形),而從句用一般過去時(V-ed).
如：If I knew his telephone number,I would tell you.
if從句的三種用法1、主將從現 (主句爲一般將來時,從句爲一般現在時);
eg:If it rains(從句) ,I will stay at home(主句).
=I will stay at home if it rains.
2、主句含有情態動詞 (must、may、can etc.)從句爲一般現在時;
eg:If you drive too fast ,you may have an accident.
=You may have an accident if you drive too fast
3、主句爲祈使句,從句要用一般現在時態;
eg:Don't play computer games if you don't finish your homework.
備註：
1、If 於句首時中間用逗號隔開,主句後不用逗號.
2、if 可用unless(除非...) 替換ss= ...
3、注意虛擬語氣 主句和從句都爲一般過去式
eg:If I was a bird ,I could fly.(事實我不可能是鳥)
