mix up ：誤解，誤會， a misunderstanding or confusion
e.g. <1>I thought you said we’re going to meet on Park street not on Main street. What a mix up!
我記得你說我們在Park大街見面，而不是Main大街。你瞧瞧全搞亂了，誤會了！
<2>If it wasn’t for the mix up, I would have been here on time.
要不是因爲誤會，我肯定會準時到達的。
