get the picture ： to understand the whole situation 對什麼有全部的瞭解
e.g. <1>After meeting his parents, Julie got the picture about her boyfriend.
在Julie和他的父母談完了之後，她對自己的男朋友是什麼樣的人就有了瞭解。
<2>Once the managers explained all the aspects of the project, I got the picture and understood my role much better.
在這些經理向我們介紹了這個項目方方面面之後，我就有一個大概的瞭解，並且更加明白我應該幹什麼，我的角色是什麼。
經典對白:
1. 劇中：He knew what he was doing.
know what somebody is doing / know what you are doing ：you have a lot of experience or a particular plan 很有經驗，做什麼事情心中有數
e.g. <1>When it comes to planning large events, she knows what she is doing.
說到籌劃大的項目，她是很有經驗的。
