1. 解詞釋義

Hard有“嚴厲的，嚴格的”之意，be hard on someone是指“嚴厲苛刻地對待他人”。要某人不要對自己太苛刻嚴厲就可以說“Don’t be hard on yourself.”以此來安慰對方。你想幫某人說情時，也可以將這句話套用成“Don’t be so hard on sb.”，意思是“別對他人太苛刻”。
