人物題的4個段落可以這樣拆開：

段落1:總體介紹這個人(比如是誰，職業，和你的關係，認識多久，外貌或者性格相關的形容詞。 );

段落2: 具體針對1-2個性格特點展開描述(這個性格特點要符合題目要求，比如喜劇演員的特點可能是sense of humor, think quickly等; 健談的人可能是 extrovertive, open-minded 等);

段落3: 舉例子 (如果描述像童年夥伴，長輩等身邊的人，可以說說你和他/她一起做什麼事， 什麼感受; 如果是不認識的人，可以說說這個人經常和他的朋友做什麼事，你看到他經常做什麼事等等);

段落4: 評價總結 (對這個人的評價和感受，給身邊人帶來的影響，剩下哪些話沒說，簡單描述幾句)

段落1:Comedians are popular as they bring the audience lots of laughter and enjoyment. Speaking of a popular comic actor, now I’m going to talk about Stephen Chow, a household name in my country. I started to know about him from one of of his films called “Forbidden City Cop”. Stephen has average looking whereas his great sense of humor impressed me a lot. (介紹喜劇演員是誰， 如何知道， 外貌)

段落2: in terms of Stephen’s characters, like I said earlier, he has masssive sense of humor and his genius lies in his ability to balance ten thousand jokes with simple effective story lines. Speaking of a popular person I know, the first name that comes to my mind is David Beckham. So today, I will be talking about him, a well-known celebrity not only in his country UK, but also around the whole world.

David Beckham was born in Leytonstone, London in the year 1975. He is most widely known as one of UK’s greatest footballers. He played football for the England National team from 1996 to 2009, and also worked for some other famous football clubs like the Manchester United and Real Madrid. As a professional player, he became an icon of football around the world at a young age and is now probably one of the most esteemed sports celebrities alive. He is a legendary footballer who has a unique style in his bending free-kicks as a right winger. In 2004, David Beckham was listed in the FIFA's 100 greatest living players in the world. He was twice the runner-up for 'FIFA World Player of the Year’. These statistics are to signify how popular he is. By the way, he became one of the highest paid footballers in the world back in 2013, from which you can tell how much people love him.

When it comes to the reasons why Beckham is so popular, first thing I have to say, is that he truly is an extraordinary football player. I’ve always been a fan of the UK football team, and Beckham was the footballer I most wanted to learn from back in high school. Besides, he’s also a fashion icon among the young, always displaying great tastes of clothing. Another important factor that makes him so popular I guess, is his efforts put in charity. He has been a UNICEF ambassador for a long period of time, founder of The David Beckham UNICEF Fund, and his recent philanthropic works also turned out to be quite exceptional.

As a successful football player, Beckham, along with his teammates, has made a hit among football fans around the world, attracting more people to explore this exciting sport. My best friend, Linda, is regarded as a language genius. She is the head of our school’s English Radio. When I pass by the office of English Radio Station, I’m always attracted by her beautiful and unique voice. Our favorite school English program is run by her, so we can hear her voice in campus every day. In this program, she will recommend some foreign songs as well as some famous literature to us. Besides, she will tell us both international and domestic news during the lunch break time. She is not only good at English but also fluent in Spanish. 卡片舉例

在第二部分的描述中，對人物的描述是考試的主流話題之一。人物描述出現的概率相當高，幾乎在每個月的考試裏面都能遇到。一般來講，人物描述的體現方式有以下幾種：a famous person / a child / an old person / a favorite teacher / a close family member / a close friend

不論怎麼樣的表現形式，對於考生來說，只要掌握方法，都能逐一破解。有的考生可能會提出疑問，如果只是回答卡片上的幾個問題，似乎很難達到2分鐘的時間長度。那麼，卡片上沒有沒到的方面，我可以進行描述嗎?回答是肯定的。但是前提是，這些雖然不是卡片問題的內容，但也必須是和該卡片主體息息相關的信息。

對於該人物的描述，考生需要注意以下幾個方面：

1、對卡片上的問題進行回答。

以上卡片包含着4個問題，在筆記過程中應當以詞語爲基礎來進行分解：

Who this person is. (人物，e.g. my mother)

What this person is like. (描述性詞語，e.g. looks, personality, hobbies)

How you are like and unlike this person. (比較和對比，similarities – looks & hobbies; differences in personality)

Why you are close to this person. (該家庭成員對自己的影響.)

2、對卡片上沒有提到信息進行描述。

在準備的1分鐘裏面，考生可以將一些問題的答案關鍵詞的形式紀錄在紙張上，即以上括號裏面的一些內容，以起到提醒的作用。然後結合自己的情況進行相關的描述。

Sample Answer：The person I am very close to in my family is my mother. My mother is medium height who always wears a friendly smile on her face. Blue is her favorite color as she thinks it symbols peace and emotion. I think is has a lot to do with her personality. As a music teacher, she is always very patient and kind to her students. There are quite a few similarities between us. People all say that I look like my mother more than my father. We both like listening to the music and watching movies. On weekends, we often go shopping in the supermarkets or department stores. But we are also different in many ways. My mother is a good gardener. Our veranda is lined with all her gardening masterpieces, such as chrysanthemum and Chinese roses. I am not so patient in taking care of the plants. Besides, my mother can cook many delicious dishes, while I can’t at all. I have learned how to treat people and how to deal with problems on my own from her. She is the one I am close to as she really influences me a lot.

有的考生在未結束描述前，可能被考官打斷(Sorry. I am gonna stop you there.)如果遇到這樣的情況，是因爲考官需要掌握和掌控考試的節奏和時間，打斷並非是由於認爲考生講得不好，所以考生不必緊張，只需要根據考官的指令繼續考試即可。
