雅思口語真題範文part2人物類:爲社會做貢獻的人範文一:

I’m sure I’m not the first person to say that teaching is a very important job in society, but I’d like to talk about someone who I saw on TV, who works in very underprivileged areas in programme I saw told the story of a young American teacher, whose name escapes me right now. He had recently graduated and was sent to teach in a very poor area in Brooklyn. He primarily taught the students science, but was also called upon to help break up fights or talk to the students when they had problems.

As a teacher, the man obviously had to be knowledgeable, organised and dedicated. But due to the testing conditions he also had to be particularly patient and disciplined, whilst maintaining a good rapport with the students. In the beginning this was very hard as they didn’t respect or trust him, but eventually he earned their trust and managed to get through to them.

I think teaching is important to society no matter where you are based, but teaching in such a difficult environment is even more admirable and important as the students are in even greater need. For a lot of them, education is the only way to drag them-selves out of poverty and escape a life of crime or hardship. Even if they are not always successful and may feel like they are banging their head against a brick wall sometimes, it is important for these teachers to continue trying.

雅思口語真題範文part2人物類:爲社會做貢獻的人範文二:

I really admired a senior student, Lin, who is keen on helping students from rural and impoverished areas. I met her in a university club which aims to help the vulnerable group. She told me that she became a volunteer teacher since she entered this club. And almost every summer holidays, she went to those undeveloped villages in Fujian Province to each local primary school students. Moreover, Lin often oragnised some fancy fairs to raise money for poor children to buy stationeries and study materials, such as bags or pencil boxes. What surprised me the most was that she gave up some decent Offers from International companies but insisted on supporting education in rural areas. As the only child in the family, many youngsters tend to be self-centered and seldom concern about others, but not did she. When I asked her why she could sacrifice so much for those children she didn’t even know, she said she wanted to make a difference for those poor children who deserve better education. Even though she was only an ordinary person, but what she did made her a respectable person that make a contribution to the society

My colleague Jenny was the answer to the question. She is a warm-hearted and smart girl. The first two months in my current company was a hard time when I met all kinds of difficulties. I couldn’t adapt to the new environment or catch the pace of the company. But as a newbie, I really wanted to perform well. Everyone seemed unfriendly and cold except her. Jenny saw through my awkwardness and uneasiness in the first week because I was always the latest one to leave. One day she seemed to intentionally wait for me for a long time to go with her and asked me what she could do for me. Since we were in the same department, I was very thankful to her kindness. I expressed my confusions and helplessness of my work. She gave me some useful advice and time management plans. Offering her working experience, she showed a great sense of understanding to my situations. In the following days, she even encouraged me to communicate with other colleagues. Everything began to be on track since then.

I once asked Jenney that why she was willing to offer me so much help during that time. She said she thought that I was a great and ambitious girl. And more importantly, I looked like her little sister. Oh my god. It’s my look that plays a role! However, I will appreciate her kindness all the time. The story told me to be more open minded to a new environment. There are always nice guys who are willing to make contacts with you. Moreover, try to become a warm-hearted and enthusiastic person just like Jenny. Be a torch that will illuminate others’ dark sky, which is also worthwhile to remember when you are old.

My meeting with John was an exceptional event. After my acquaintance with him, I felt like I met the most polite man in my life. He truly is a man of gentle nature. He is kind and loves to meet with people and help them in their needs. Though he needs to suffer for his politeness, he is unable to give up his natural habit. This is a nice cue card task for me and I am happy to have the chance of describing him.

I came to know about John in my university. He is the only person who came to my help when I was in a dire need of support. In fact, I lost my class diary and a pen on my way to the university and it was John who helped me with his own pen and shared his notes. Later, I came to know that he had a single pen that he gave to me and he did not write a line on his exercise book for the want of a pen. When other students were busy with them, he came forward for my help selflessly. It was his politeness that made me amazed.

John is polite in every sense. He never makes any rude remarks to anyone while others find it interesting to make statements on other's troublesome situations. Moreover, when someone is in distress, it is John who moves ahead before everyone else. His speeches are well constructed and he always carefully tries not to hurt anyone with his speech. He is unable to say something against any rude remarks to him and remains silent in this situations. He is well-known both for his gentle nature and talent.

I am highly glad to have this person on my friend list. In fact, he is a model for everyone to learn courtesy. He never breaks his promises and makes promise considering his ability. So, I like him very much for his politeness and other qualities.

  雅思口語Part2 範文:一個有幽默感的人

Describe a person who has a good sense of humor

Ok, I've been asked to describe a person with a good sense of humour, and the person I've chosen is my classmate Zhang Hui. Zhang. Hui is a boy from Henan. He comes from Kaifeng. He majors in Economics and well, I guess you can say that Economics is not the most interesting subject, especially when the teachers start drawing graphics on the blackboard. Zhang Hui just seems to know how to make a joke out of it all. He has this funny face, which just adds to his humour.

I'll give you an example of how sharp his wit is. The instructor was talking about the relationship of supply and demand, and was looking for examples. So Zhang Hui stuck up his hand and said his mother is an example. He said the more money he spends on university, the better grades she demands. After he said that, everyone laughed so hard the professor had to wait for five minutes before he could continue.

I guess the way this person affects me is that he teaches me that there is nothing very serious in life. He puts me at ease and he reminds me that we are all human. I don't get overstressed when I spend time with him because he knows how to make a joke out of everything.
