看電影學口語：《實習生》中最常用的6個詞
說起實習生，你一定會想到即將從大學畢業的學子們，然而，實習生還有其他的可能。2015年的電影《實習生》中就有這麼一位70歲高齡的爺爺級實習生。英語君覺得這是近幾年職場題材中最出色的一部影片，大家有時間不妨看看。現在讓我們先來學學裏面的一些口語表達。
1. to pieces
非常，極度
男主Ben是位70歲的退休老人，在成爲實習生之前，他已經嘗試了所有可以嘗試的東西去豐富自己的生活。
The only traveling I do these days is out to San Diego to visit my son and his family. They are great, I love them to pieces.
最近這段時間唯一一次旅行我去了聖地亞哥，去看我的兒子和他的家人。他們很棒，我愛死他們了。

原意爲“成碎片的”，口語中還可表示“非常，極度，無保留地，完全地
例：
The tiger jumped on its prey and tore it to pieces.
老虎撲向它的獵物並將其撕碎。

小男孩非常愛他的泰迪熊。
I love him to pieces and of course I will say “Yes” to the proposal.
我特別愛他，當然會在求婚中說“願意”。
-up-your-sleeves attitude
有幹勁
這是一則充滿創新意識的招聘廣告，在Ben想着如何去填滿自己生活中的那個洞時，他在市場看到了這則廣告。
Applicants must be over 65 years of age, have organizational skills, a genuine interest in e-commerce and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
應聘者年齡必須在65週歲以上，有組織能力，對電子商務感興趣，還得有充滿幹勁的態度。
Notes:
roll-up-your-sleeves
從字面理解當然是“捲起袖子”，幹活的時候捲起袖子，表示非常投入，很有幹勁。
例：
You are the roll-up-your-sleeves kind of girl in your work and that’s why you can create this wonderful website.
你在工作中就是那張充滿乾淨的姑娘，這也是爲什麼你可以開創這麼棒的網站。
You must have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude working in the company.
在這家公司工作，你必須有實幹精神。
3. take a rain check
改期
We got to do that again, for sure, but okay if we take a rain check?
我們是還得聚一次，肯定的，但改天行不行？
爺爺級也有被追求的煩惱呢。不能直接拒絕，那就改天。

例：
I can’t go to see the movie tonight but can I take a rain check?
我今天不能去看電影，改天行嗎？
It’s okay for me if you wanna take a rain check.
我這邊沒問題，如果你想改期的話。
there or be square
不見不散
See you in the a.m.? Be there or be square.
早上見。不見不散。
Notes:
be there or be square
不見不散，可見說話人對於某個約定的重視。
例：
Meet me in the usual place tomorrow morning, be there or be square.
明天早上老地方見，不見不散哦。
I have a birthday party tonight, you must come. Be there or be square.
今晚是我的生日趴，你一定要來，不見不散。
5. take the rap
（美式）承擔分外的責任，（爲別人）受責備或懲罰
You’re not actually taking the rap for any of this, are you?
你不會真的把這些都看成是自己的錯，對吧？
面對投資人的質疑，丈夫的出軌，Jules盡全力調整自己，但心底仍然非常難過，在Ben的面前哭訴。Ben給了她及時的支持，幫助她看清自己的處境和應做出的選擇。

out
辭職
He was a rising star. And he bowed out so that I could do this.
之前他也在事業上升期，但爲了我能做這件事，他選擇辭職。
女主的丈夫Matt的確很有犧牲精神，爲了妻子的事業，爲了照顧家庭選擇做全職爸爸，了不起，儘管他也會犯錯。

bow out
辭職，退出，相當於quit
例：
I think it’s the right time to bow out without hurting her feelings.
現在是退出的最佳時機，也不會傷害她的感情。
