口語裏的see stars，可沒那麼浪漫
想當年，我也是沉迷於瓊瑤奶奶的經典（rou ma）臺詞，追劇根本停不下來▽
紫薇：“你們一起看雪看星星看月亮，從詩詞歌賦談到人生哲學…我都沒有和你一起看雪看星星看月亮，從詩詞歌賦談到人生哲學…”
爾康：“都是我的錯我的錯…我答應你今後只和你一起看雪看星星看月亮，從詩詞歌賦談到人生哲學”。
由此可見，我們的偶像劇裏，看星星是多麼浪漫的事情啊。
BUT你要是聽到老外這樣說，可就沒那麼浪漫了▽
The pain made me see stars.
我痛得眼裏直冒金星。
其實口語裏的see stars，意思是“眼冒金星；頭昏眼花”。
The blow on his head made Jack see stars.
傑克當頭捱了一擊，眼睛直冒金星。
這裏再分享一些和star有關的習語。
1、new star／rising star
star的主要意思是“星星，明星”，比如new star就表示“新發現的星球，新秀”。
Publicity agents were beating the drum about the new star.
宣傳員（廣告員）們通過宣傳媒介竭力吹捧這名新星。
new star跟rising star的意思差不多，都表示了一股新生力量。
比如常說的歌壇新星就可以說：
A new／rising star
a new star singer
an up-and-coming／young singer
2、guest star
guest star的意思是“特約演員明星，客串”。
這裏的star可以是動詞，意思就是“appear in a guest role”。
Aniston guest stars as a lesbian magazine editor and rival to Cox's character.
安妮斯頓客串一個同性戀女主編的角色，與考克斯演對手戲。
當然，star也可以是名詞，那就可以用actor或者是actress替換了。
客串是很常見的事，就比如《建國三部曲》，每次的賣點就是大咖客串。

3、five star
star作名詞，還可以表示“傑出人物；最優秀者； 才華出衆者；著名人物”。
我們常用five star （五星級）來表示“一流的”，比如：
five star hotel
五星級賓館
five star general
五星上將
老外就稱讚《敦刻爾克》：《敦刻爾克》是一部一流的傑作。▽
Dunkirk is a five-star triumpy.
【triumph可以表示“凱旋；成就”，也有“最好的例子”的意思。】
4、trust one's stars
star還表示“星象”，也就是根據人出生時天體的位置而描述的命運。
所以trust one's stars的意思就是“相信自己的命運”。
5、lucky stars
如果要形容一個人生來就有福氣，就可以說：
be born under a lucky star或者be born under a fortunate star。
