Well, I think students can have part-time jobs if they can manage studying and part-time work at the same time. I know many university students who do part-time work at the same time while studying. And most of them manage it.
But some of us cannot do that, so being a university student, I think it's more important that you prioritise your studies and try to get some scholarships maybe, but there are some times when you need to do some part-time work as well.
