just the job/thing 正是想要的東西

【講解】

該習語的意思是“正是所需要的東西”。例如：Thanks for that screw, it was just the job.(謝謝你給我的那個蜾絲，我正需要呢。） just the thing 還可以說成 just the very thing,表示“正是所需的亊物"。例如：Her proposal was just the thing.(她的提議正合所需。)

A:Mum, did you see the books Iborrowed from Angela?

A:媽媽，你見過我從安吉拉那兒借來的書嗎？

B:Yeah. I put them on the top of the cupboard.
