一、Talk show【脫口而出】
1、I’d like to renew it for another week.
我想再續借一個星期。
renew：續借，使更新;重建，復興。
Eg：we have renewed our friendly relationship withwestern countries. 我們與西方國家已經重建友好關係。
I’d like to keep it for another week.
2、I’m sorry it is lent out.
真抱歉，此書已借出。
lend out 借出
I’m sorry, but the book is out.
I’m sorry, the book you want is taken.
3、Is the library available during the summer vacation?
暑假期間，圖書館開放嗎?
available：有效地，可得到的;可利用的，空閒的。
Good quality jeans are only available on the black market in this city.
在這個城市上乘的牛仔褲只有黑市上才能買得到。
4、Is that book entitled Who Moved My Cheese available?
有那本名叫《誰動了我的奶酪》的書嗎?
entitled：adj. 有資格的;給與名稱的 v. 給…權利;給…定書名;授…以榮譽(entitle的過去分詞)
Eg：Western countries agree China is still entitled to special treatment.
西方國家同意：中國仍有權享受特殊待遇。
be entitled to 享受……權力
二、Reply fluently【對答如流】
A: I’d like to borrow these four books.
B: have you got you library card?
A: yes, right here.
B: you’ve already had five books out, so you can only take out one more.
A: then I will just take out this one.
B: ok, here is your book and your card.
B: thanks bye.

一、talk show【脫口而出】
1、Are you in any clubs at school?
你在學校有沒有參加社團?
club:社團,協會 也可以說 association
Are you a member of any clubs?
2、Are there any membership dues?
需要交會費嗎?
dues：會費，手續費(用的是due 的複數形式，要注意哦)。與此相關的：port dues 港口稅，
custom dues 關稅
此外due還有一個意思在口語中比較常用，“到期的，截止日期的”eg：when is the homeworkdue? 什麼時候交家庭作業?
3、Do I have to fill out an application to join?
我是不是要填申請表格才能加入?
fill out：填寫……，此處省略了表格form，全部的應該是application form， fill out a form填寫表格。
近義詞：fill in 填空 fill in the blanks
4、I am craving for the guitar club.
我很想參加吉他社團。
很想做某事：be craving for sth/doing sth
I am dying to join the guitar club.
I am itching for joining the guitar club.
I am really longing to join the guitar.
很想做某事的表達：be dying to do/be itching for doing/be longing to do
5、I am afraid joining a club will take up much of my time.
我擔心參加社團耽誤許多時間。
耽誤時間：take up time 佔用、花費：take up
二、Reply fluently【對答如流】
A: Hey, jenny. You look worred.
B: Yes, I am thinking of joining a club. Let’s join the football club.
A: Actually, I am not in to football at all.
B: Neither am I.
A: How about the classical music club.
B: Give me a break. Have you seen the guys in that club? You can tell them right off-total nerds.

in to…… 口語中表示：擅長做某事
neither be/do + 人稱代詞 表示：某人也不……
so do/be + 人稱代詞 表示：某人也……
give me a break: 繞了我吧，口語中常用
eg： come on, give me a break. 得了吧，少來這一套
you can tell…… 可以看出來…… eg：you can easily tell the difference of these two books 你可以很容易的看出這兩本書的區別。
off-total nerds：書呆子、行爲古怪的人
