萬聖節馬上到了，各種稀奇古怪，青面獠牙的南瓜燈又要閃亮登場了，說起南瓜燈，種類真是多啊。

美國設計師Ray Villafane將南瓜雕刻藝術推上了另一個高峯。此人是學藝術的，還給美國第一大漫畫公司DC設計過人物形象(超人和蝙蝠俠就是DC家的)，他用南瓜雕刻出了一系列恐怖的鬼臉。
He says. "The most important thing about a pumpkin is its weight. I also like a pumpkin with character."
他說，必須挑選有分量的南瓜，而不是看這個南瓜長得好不好看，因爲皮不夠厚的話就雕不出來這麼複雜的花樣。他還喜歡有性格的南瓜(也就是長得奇形怪狀可以順勢雕出這麼糾結的老人臉的南瓜麼)
His pumpkins have become something of an internet sensation, and have led to appearances on prime time American networks. This one is called 'Shattered'。
他的南瓜雕刻在網上很火，還上過美國黃金時段的電視。這個作品名叫“砸爛了”
"I used to be an art teacher at a Michigan school and one day I was approached to do some pumpkin carving. I thought why don't I try and carve the pumpkin like it is a piece of clay as opposed to a large vegetable. It came out alright, but the most important result was that the kids at the school absolutely loved it. I used to arrive at school and there would be a dozen pumpkins just sitting there waiting for me at my classroom"
“我之前就只是密西根一家學校的美術老師，一次學校裏要做南瓜燈，我突然想到，爲什麼不以專業雕塑的眼光去看待這些南瓜呢？於是作品出來之後學生們都很喜歡，以至於後來我一進辦公室就看到好幾個南瓜擺在那等我。”

這個作品命名爲美杜莎，傳說中的蛇頭女妖怪，看一眼就會變成石頭~但是爲毛覺得這個頭像插了好幾只雞爪子……

這傢伙叫“咬指甲的東東”——還是說這個可以當成水滸裏青面獸楊志同學的Q版~~
注：nail biter字面意思是“咬指甲的人”，可以比喻恐怖電影、令人害怕的東西，因爲人一害怕就會不由自主地咬指甲。

這個是名副其實的掌中惡魔——小妖怪你也太小了吧~再怎麼齜牙咧嘴，哼，還不是被人一把就捏住了。
