真尷尬!印度總理莫迪弄錯阿富汗總統生日送錯祝福!

Indian Prime Minister wished Afghan President Ashraf Ghani a happy birthday on Twitter - only for the latter to explain he had got the wrong day - the BBC reported.

根據BBC報道，印度總理納倫德拉·莫迪在推特上向阿富汗總統阿什拉夫·加尼送上最美好的祝福，只不過後者指出，莫迪總理把時間搞錯了。

Modi had tweeted his best wishes to Ghani, writing, "Praying for your long life and exceptional health and a joyful journey ahead." The Afghan president then gently pointed out his date of birth, May 19.

莫迪總理在推文中表達了他對加尼總統最美好的祝福，他這樣寫道：“祝加尼先生身體健康、長壽，生活幸福。”隨後，加尼總統友好地指出，其實他的生日是5月19日。

Ghani's profile on Google lists his birthday as being on February 12, which may explain the mistake. It is not known if Modi himself wrote the erroneous tweet. His posts are reportedly written by his social media manager, Hiren Joshi.

加尼總統在谷歌上的個人資料顯示他的生日是2月12日，也許這可以解釋莫迪總理的失誤。目前，這一錯誤推文是否出自莫迪之手尚不明確。據報道，莫迪的推文由他的個人社交媒體經理Hiren Joshi負責撰寫。

Given there at least 22.2 million Twitter users in India and that Ghani has more than 176,000 followers, the mistake was spotted by plenty of people.

在印度，目前至少有2200萬名推特用戶，加尼總統也有超過17萬6000名關注者。所以這一錯誤已經被很多人發現了。

One Twitter user in India replied to the Afghan president, "We don't care when you b'day is, if our honourable PM has wished you today, we will celebrate it today."

印度一名推特用戶對阿富汗總統作出迴應：“我們不介意你的生日到底是哪天。如果我們尊敬的總理今天向你表達祝福，那我們就會在今天慶祝。”

Another user - Richard Rego - said it was "the biggest international joke from someone occupying the biggest chair in the biggest democracy".

另外一名名叫Richard Rego的用戶表示，這次事件是“世界上最大的民主國家的最高首腦開的最大的國際玩笑。”
