這麼厲害!捷克男子開自制飛機上下班!

Frantisek Hadrava, 45, of Zdikov in the Czech Republic now travels to work in an ultralight wooden plane after spending two years designing and building the aircraft.

在捷克共和國茲迪科夫市，一名名叫弗朗迪塞科·哈德拉瓦的45歲男子，花費兩年時間設計建造了一架超輕木質飛機，如今他乘坐這架飛機上班。

Based on the US design of light planes called Mini-Max, the Vampira aircraft cost him about 3,700 Euros to build.

這架Vampira飛機是以美國Mini-Max輕型飛機爲設計原型，建造成本約爲3700歐元。

The plane has an open cockpit, propeller powered by a three-cylinder engine made by Czech firm Verner.

這架飛機擁有開放式駕駛艙，螺旋槳由捷克公司Verner製造的三缸引擎提供動力。

Hadrava said that the aircraft, which is almost entirely made of wood, had a fuel consumption of 6 liters of petrol per hour and can reach a top speed of 91 miles per hour.

哈德拉瓦表示，這架飛機幾乎完全由木頭製作而成，油耗爲每小時6升汽油，最高時速可達91英里。

"It takes me about 12-14 minutes to get to work by car. By plane, it would take around 4-5 minutes if I flew directly," said Hadrava.

哈德拉瓦說："我開車上班要花費12-14分鐘，如果我開飛機直接飛過去需要約4-5分鐘。"

However, Mr Hadrava can only use the plane if the weather is clear.

不過，哈德拉瓦只會在天氣晴朗的時候使用這架飛機。

Mr Hadrava has also built a replica of the German World War One triplane Fokker Dr.I, and his next plan is to construct another historical plane, the French Deperdussin.

此外，哈德拉瓦還建造了一架德國一戰時期福克Dr.I三翼飛機的複製品，而他打造的下一架則會是另一具有歷史意義的飛機，即法國的Deperdussin.
