The release of Air Strike, a film starring Chinese actress Fan Bingbing and American star Bruce Willis, has been cancelled after Fan's tax evasion case.

受范冰冰逃稅事件的影響，由范冰冰和美國影星布魯斯·威利斯主演的電影《大轟炸》已經取消上映。

Xiao Feng, the film's director, announced via his Weibo account that "It was time to let go, after eight years of work on the film".

《大轟炸》導演蕭鋒通過他的新浪微博帳號發文稱：“經過8年的努力，是到放下的時候了”。

The war drama, which also starred American actor Adrien Brody, was set to premiere worldwide on October 26.

China's State Administration of Taxation discovered that the actress had earned US$4.4m for her guest role in Air Strike.

However, she only declared a third of that salary in taxable income -- therefore avoiding about US$1.1m in taxes through the use of a 'Yin-Yang contract', a fraudulent dual contract system which facilitates tax evasion.
