希拉里出新書《何以致敗》曝光敗選內幕

Hillary Clinton is calling her new book "What Happened" and promises "unprecedented candor" as she looks back at her stunning defeat last year to Donald Trump.

希拉里·克林頓將其新書命名爲《何以致敗》，並承諾在回顧去年意外敗給唐納德·特朗普的經歷時將“空前坦白”。

"In the past, I've often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net. Now I'm letting my guard down." Clinton writes in the introduction, according to publisher Simon And Schuster.

西蒙與舒斯特出版社稱，希拉里在序言中寫道：“過去，我常感覺在公共場合必須謹慎，就像是走在沒有防護網的鋼絲上。如今我放下了戒備。”

Simon And Schuster told The AP that Clinton's book will be highly personal but also a "cautionary tale" about Russian interference in last year's election and its threat to democracy.

西蒙與舒斯特出版社向美聯社表示，希拉里的新書極具個人色彩，但也是一個關於俄羅斯干涉去年選舉、威脅民主的“警世故事”。

In public remarks since last fall, the Democrat has cited Russia as a factor in her defeat to her Republican opponent, along with a letter sent by then-FBI Director James Comey less than two weeks before the election.

自去年夏天開始，在公開場合的評論中，這位民主黨人將俄羅斯視爲敗給她的共和黨對手的一個原因，而另一個原因是，時任聯邦調查局局長的詹姆斯·科米在選舉前不到兩週的時間寫的一封信件。

Mr. Comey's letter, sent to Congress on Oct. 28, said the FBI "learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation" into the private email server that Ms. Clinton used as Secretary of State. Days later, Mr. Comey wrote that the FBI did not find anything new.

科米於去年10月28日致信國會的信件指出，聯邦調查局“獲悉與調查相關的電子郵件存在”於希拉里作爲國務卿時的私人電子郵件服務器中。但是幾天之後，科米又寫道聯邦調查局沒有找到任何新的證據。

"What Happened" is set to be released Sept 12. Ms. Clinton also wrote It Takes a Village — And Other Lessons Children Teach Us when she was U.S. First Lady.

《何以致敗》將於9月12日發行。希拉里在擔任美國第一夫人時還曾經出版過《舉全村之力：如何培養孩子》一書。
