With the slow start they're having this season, a lot of questions have emerged for the Oklahoma City Thunder. One of them is the chemistry their players are building, especially with the arrival of All-Star forwards Carmelo Anthony and Paul George to their fold. However, the latter recently said that it's never been an issue for the team.

That may be Paul George's take, but through 29 games, the results are not supporting his claims. They only have a 14-15 record to show, following their loss to the New York Knicks on Saturday. His averages of 20.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists may still be very good, but it's the lowest he's had in the past three years.

If there's any silver lining for George and the Thunder despite their early struggles, they still have 53 games left on their regular season schedule, which is more than enough for them to turn around their fortunes. Having a lot of veterans in their lineup also helps their cause, as they already have a deep understanding of what it takes to win.

Anthony recently attributed their struggles to the lack of clearly-defined roles on the team. However, Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady feels that their troubles thus far should be pinned on head coach Billy Donovan during an appearance on ESPN's The Jump:

The comparison from McGrady is fair considering the difference in how each team handled the acquisitions of such ball-dominant players. It goes without saying that the Houston Rockets have had much more success with their star-studded roster than the Thunder have.

Carmelo Anthony only attempted six shots Monday night, finishing with four points, and said he's fine with that since the OKC Thunder earned a 95-94 win against the visiting Denver Nuggets.

Westbrook dropped a season-high 38 points on Denver, and added nine rebounds and six assists.

But tonight, he had it going, and we followed his lead."
