Nowadays, more and more college students are becoming enthusiastic about the healthy development of the society. They even actively participate in the fight against the criminality at the risk of their lives, which has caused a lot of debate among the media. So far as I am concerned, the college students should be very careful in their combat against the criminality for several reasons.

如今，越來越多的大學生對社會的健康發展越來越熱心。他們甚至是冒着生命危險參與到與罪犯的鬥爭中，這在媒體上引起了很多爭議。在我看來，大學生在與罪犯的鬥爭中應該小心，原來有幾個。

On the one hand, the college students should take their studies as the priority in the four-year campus life. Since they are the very prime of their life and time is so precious, they need to concentrate on their development and improvement of the skills for a bright future career. Besides, the society has place too much expectation on them. On the other hand, the college students should deal with the criminality with more strategies. In other words, when they meet the criminals in the real life, they can appeal to the authorities like the police for help. Only in this way can they fight effectively and protect themselves in the mean time.

一方面，大學生應該把學習當做是四年校園生活中的首要任務。因爲他們是生活的主角，時間很寶貴。爲了將來光明的未來和事業，他們需要注重發展和提高技能。此外，社會在他們身上寄予了太多的厚望。另一方面，大學生應該用更多策略與罪犯鬥爭。換句話說，當他們在現實生活中遇到罪犯的時候，他們應該向權威人士，如警察，尋求幫助。只有這樣，他們才能夠有效地鬥爭，同時保護自己。

In conclusion, the college students are supposed to fight against the criminality in an effective but safe manner instead of risking their lives.

總之，大學生應該用有效安全的方法與罪犯鬥爭，而不是冒着生命危險。

　　英語口語能力測試必要嗎?

College students have to attend the test of spoken English. Some people think that it's not necessary at all. I don't agree to it. A test of spoken English will be included as a component of a comprehensive English test. It's quite necessary.

大學生必須參加英語口語測試。有的人認爲這一點也沒必要。我不同意這一觀點。英語口語測試是英語綜合測試的一個組成部分，是十分必要的。

Firstly, with the deepening of reform and opening up, our exchanges with foreigners will increase rapidly. Face-to-face talks with foreigners are becoming more and more frequent. Therefore, our society will badly needs people who possess the comprehensive ability to English, spoken ability included. However, the fact is that the students who have a good command of English can not express themselves very well. So it's a good way to urge them to pay more attention to practice and improve their spoken English. Secondly, people who can speak English fluently will have a better chance of obtaining a better job. Last, good spoken English will open a wider window to your life. Therefore, such a test is really a necessity.

首先，隨着改革開放的深入，我們與外國人之間的交流也會快速增進。與外國人面對面的交流變得越來越頻繁。因此，我們社會迫切需要具備綜合英語能力，包括口語能力的人。然而，事實是有良好英語能力的學生不能夠很好地表達自己。因此，這是一個督促他們更注意練習和提高口語的好方法。其次，英語說得流利的人會有更好的機會獲得更好的工作。最後，良好的英語口語會給你的生活打開一個窗口。因此，這項測試真的很有必要。

From the discussion above, I am undoubtedly for the test because college students will benefit a lot from this kind of test and their outstanding verbal ability. Students should try their best to improve their spoken English, not only for the test, but for their future.

　　跟團旅遊還是自己旅遊?

With the improvement of life standards, there are a growing number of people traveling each year, which is a good way to enjoy life. Some people would like to take a package tour, while others would rather travel on their own. I prefer to the latter, because I feel that it’s much more convenient and unconstrained than taking a package tour as I did before.

隨着生活水平的提高，每年去旅遊的人越來越多，這是享受生活的一種好方式。有的人喜歡跟團旅遊，而其他人喜歡自己去。我更喜歡後者，因爲我覺得這樣更方便，而且比以前我跟團旅遊更自由。

First of all, traveling on my own, I can arrange my time and route more optionally. For example, when I get to someplace I desperately like, I can choose to stay longer and don’t have to think about others. Secondly, to save time, the itinerary are relatively tight joining package tour, and tourists can only stay very short time in each attractions. It’s difficult to enjoy every landscape carefully. Moreover, in order to earn rebates, some travel agencies force tourists to consume. In the meantime, traveling on my own is much cheaper and get more fun. Finally, the trip is designed to relax, but many people say that package toures are not to make them really relax, but even more tired.

首先，自己旅遊的話我可以更有選擇地安排我的時間和路線。比如，當我去到我非常想去的地方的時候，我可以選擇待久一點，也不用考慮其他人。其次，爲了節省時間，跟團的行程都比較趕，遊客在每個景點停留的時間很短，很難仔細欣賞每處風景。另外，爲了獲得折扣，一些旅行社強制遊客進行消費。同時，自己旅行更便宜得到更多樂趣。最後，旅遊的目的是爲了放鬆，但是很多人說跟團旅遊沒有真正使他們放鬆，反而更累了。

On the whole, I prefer to to travel on my own, which is more convenient, unconstrained and cheaper.

總的來看，我更喜歡自己去旅遊，它更方便，更自由，更便宜。
